You spank your kids. I love how you mentioned that. I hadnt seen that yet in a 100ThingsAboutMePost. Yay to you!
September 10, 2007 at 3:26 pm
Thanks. I think they need it occasionally.

OK you are being added to my blogroll. I’m so glad you stopped by my place and left a comment. I love your list especially 72 *87 * 95. But I have to say the minivan almost scared me off. Tee-hee.

LOL. I have to admit, I hate the minivan, but it was the obvious choice so we could all ride together when the stepkids were over. My next vehicle will be a car.
I love your blog too, and am honored to be on your blogroll.

I’m a gas whore…SUV all the way! I know that’s bad hun.
September 29, 2007 at 11:06 am
Everybody kept telling me that I needed to get a minivan but I choose a SUV, 2 wks later the gas price went sky high and I sometimes regret not getting something a little more economically. I just don’t want to drive a mini-van, I think the are really nice…However, I think it has more to do with the “image” it represents. Stupid I know!!!
I did tell the kids that we were going to get a new vehicle, and that I didn’t know what but that in the next couple of months I will be looking, but that it wouldn’t be a mini-van, that it would probably be a car. Of course, I would love to have a truck…lol….but I really need a car with REALLY good gas mileage, something that definitely gives me more than 16 miles to a gallon!!!!

Minivans aren’t alot better than SUV’s in the gas dept. I get about 20 mpg. My mom has an Impala, and I LOVE it. Now that J has a truck our gas expense has definitely gone up.

You have like the coolest avatar on the net..
Only one speeding ticket? How did you get even that in a minivan?
This is a great blog.
October 18, 2007 at 3:13 pm
Thanks. Brian made it for me. It’s the Bon Jovi smirk, which looks alot like the koolaid man.
I got the speeding ticket in my teeange years. In my much cooler Pontiac Sunbird! No tickets in the Minivan, yet.

I definitely had to sit and count up my speeding tickets….3 (and I’m 20…
bad, I know.

Your list is so wonderful. Very revealing; really lets you see what you are all about. I love, “I have 3 living grandparents” - how utterly fortunate for you and your family, what a rare blessing. and #55 is cute! I’m glad I stumbled here, terrific blog! I’m always amazed at these lists and how they mesh one bit of info into the other so seamlessly, mine is a work in progress and is very choppy. Maybe one day I’ll get it together like you did?!! Great!

Thank you so much. Glad you stopped by. I will definitely check yours out!

Been meaning to ask you .. have you been to the quilt museum down in Paducah? Ive been wanting to go, but didnt want to waste a trip for something that aint worth it, ya know. It’s not a LONG drive, but a drive nonetheless (like an hour). Kinda sorta figured you might have been there before. Or at least hoping so!
February 29, 2008 at 10:12 am
I haven’t (hangs head in shame). I hear it’s really nice though.
I wouldn’t go during the Quilt show. It’s sometime around the first of April. It’s crazy. You can’t get a hotel within a 50 mile radius.

TEN Bon Jovi concerts? Awesome! I’ve yet to seen ONE (although I’ve watched many of their live performances on TV).
They’re near the top of my list of bands I wanna see live.
March 12, 2008 at 6:05 pm
You should definitely see them live. They are great. Thanks for commenting.
